In my early 20s, I began working for Pollo’s & UnaMas restaurant group as the construction manager and in house general contractor. My daily role included: site surveying, project budgeting, lease negotiations, project team building, product resourcing, food service layout, contracting, design/build, scheduling build outs, and operational turnovers.
After seven years, during in which I constructed over forty restaurants, I decided to go out on my own. I opened Josh Klein Construction Inc. and continued to pursue my interest in building.
Since the inception, Josh Klein Construction Inc. has proudly built over 150 restaurants.
I have been involved in the restaurant business since my youth. My father was, and continues to be, a successful restaurateur. As a teenager, I was put to work on his construction projects and in his restaurants. As a result, I gained general knowledge of restaurants, along with hands on construction skills. I also acquired management skills through the reporting of daily operations of his restaurants.
